Visit Makassar - City Malino which is located 90 km
south of Makassar in South Sulawesi provincial capital, is one of the
attractions of nature that has its own charm. Malino is, as the
peak area of Bogor or Bandung. In the area of tourism Malino
itself, there are jungle tours, a tall pine trees lining the hills and
valleys. The road winding uphill and across the row with the beautiful
mountains and valleys like a painting of nature, will take you to the city of
Malino. The area is famous as a tourist since the Dutch colonial
era. Many visitors who come either from the city of Makassar and other
areas in South Sulawesi, from all over Indonesia and even many tourist Abroad,
to get a place of safe recreation and refreshing, especially during weekends or
holidays. Before the show the name of Malino, old people familiar with the
local village name 'Lapparak'. Laparrak in Makassar language
means the flat, which means that too only in a place that is a flat area, between
the mountains that stood firm. Located at an altitude between
